Centennial Hall management changes hands July 1

June 29, 2018 – News

Starting July 1, the Juneau Arts & Humanities Council (JAHC) will be managing the daily operations of Centennial Hall Convention Center. The JAHC also manages the adjacent Juneau Arts and Culture Center.

Centennial Hall has recently been managed by the City and Borough of Juneau Parks & Recreation Department. The goal of joint management of Centennial Hall and the Juneau Arts and Culture Center is closer operational coordination between the two facilities, as well as furthering the CBJ Assembly’s Economic Development goals related to arts, culture and being a travel destination for larger conventions and meetings. CBJ will still own the facility and Centennial Hall will continue to be available to the community for emergency management purposes as needed.

For questions on availability and booking Centennial Hall, please continue to use Centennial Hall’s main line 586-5283 or call the JAHC at 586-2787.

For more information, contact the City Manager’s Office at 586-5240.
