Once again the City Museum will participate in Day of Play on Saturday, September 12th. Admission is free between the hours of 11:30 am and 1:00 pm, and everyone, especially families, are invited for old-time fun with games, toys and activities like Jacks, Marbles and Tiddly Winks. There will be dress ups for dramatic play in the Hands-On Gallery, and scavenger hunts and an I-Spy game to engage young museum goers with the exhibits on display.

Other sites participating in Day of Play include both pools, Treadwell Ice Arena, the Douglas Library and Fire Station, Dimond Park Field House and the Zach Gordon Youth Center, serving free hot dogs! More details about the Day of Play schedule and sites will soon be found on the Parks & Rec website and via regular media outlets.
