Subject: Drug Arrest
Date: 2021-12-15
From: Lieutenant Krag Campbell
Case or Incident: #211210-002
Summary:

On 12/10/2021, members of the Southeast Alaska Cities Against Drugs (SEACAD) task force, located a suspicious parcel being shipped to Juneau in the mail. A search warrant was obtained for the package and inside there was 56.61 grams of cocaine. On 12/13/2021, SEACAD delivered the package to its intended destination, at a residence in the 6400 block of N. Douglas Highway. The package was picked up by male driving a truck, which left the area soon afterwards. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle in the area of hospital drive. The driver, 24-year-old Juneau resident Dillon Matthew Johnson, was the only occupant inside the vehicle. The package was recovered inside the vehicle and determined to have been opened. Johnson was placed under arrest for one count of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree, a class B felony offense. It is estimated that the street value of the 56.61 grams of cocaine is approximately $13,680.
