On 4/15/20, members of the Southeast Alaska Cities Against Drugs (SEACAD) taskforce executed search warrants related to a multi-year drug investigation. The investigation resulted in the arrest of 29-year old Demeco Martin, a Washington resident, for Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the 2nd and 4th Degree.
As a result of the investigation, 611 pills of a controlled substance and over $9,000 cash were seized. The pills had a street value of about $24,000.
The warrant service on 4/16/20 was aided by members of the Juneau Police Department, Alaska State Troopers, Coast Guard Investigative Service, and the Federal Bureau of Investigations. The multi-year investigation was aided by members of the Juneau Police Department, Alaska State Troopers, Coast Guard Investigative Service, Federal Bureau of Investigations, Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Port of Seattle Police.
