On 01/31/2020, at about 10:00 AM, the Juneau Police Department arrested 53-year-old Juneau resident, Keith Anders Hermann, on a $50,000 arrest warrant, related to multiple charges of sexual abuse of a minor. Hermann was arrested at the State office building where he works.
The warrant was issued for Hermann's arrest on 01/30/2020, after a Juneau grand jury indicted him on six counts of sexual abuse of a minor in the 1st degree, six counts of sexual abuse of a minor in the 2nd degree, and one count of sex assault in the 1st degree.
The initial investigation began on 08/08/2019, when the Juneau Police Department received a report alleging that Hermann had been sexually abusing a minor over a span of about fifteen years. Over the next several months, JPD Detectives investigated the case which ultimately was referred to the District Attorney's Office for prosecution and indicted by a grand jury.
Hermann is currently being held at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center on $50,000 bail.
