On April 29th, 2019 at about 1:30pm a JPD officer saw a man wearing a long black wig and sunglasses driving a white Jeep Cherokee. The officer suspected that the man was Jeremy Simile who was known to have multiple outstanding arrest warrants.
The officer attempted to follow the Jeep but it changed directions. The officer located the vehicle in the 9200 block of Long Run Drive. The vehicle struck a mailbox causing approximately $30 in damage. The male driver left the area on foot prior to the officer’s arrival.
A female passenger, Rikki Biggs, was contacted near the vehicle. Biggs was not cooperative in identifying the male that fled. Multiple officers canvased the area and Jeremy Simile was ultimately contacted and detained on the lawn of the Alaskan Memorial Park funeral home.
25 year old Rikki A. Biggs was charged with Hindering Prosecution in the 1st degree.
32 year old Jeremy D. Simile was arrested on three outstanding felony warrants and a new charge of Criminal Mischief in the 5th degree. Both were lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
