Subject: Burglary

Summary:

On 10/27/18, at about 10:42 AM, the Juneau Police Department received a report of a burglary at a business located in the 8300 block of Old Dairy Road. The owner reported that when he arrived at the business, there was an unknown man and woman inside. The man and woman left in a white U-Haul rental truck.

The owner reported the business had been ransacked, atleast $38 cash was stolen, and several items from within the store had been piled up by the front door.

About 11:01 AM, JPD located the U-Haul truck at a residence in the 8400 block of Nugget Drive. Officers applied for a search warrant of the residence, and after it was granted, conducted a search. Officers contacted a total of 34 people on the property; five of the people had outstanding warrants and were arrested.

41 year old David Fuchs was arrested on two $50 arrest warrants for failing to appear on the charges of buying/receiving stolen property and interfering with an officer. Fuchs was also remanded to the jail for violating his conditions of release.

38 year old Brandon Bowhay was arrested on a $20,000 arrest warrant for failing to comply with conditions of probation on the original charge of burglary 1st degree.

31 year old Oleksandr Kryvoruchko was arrested on four $100 arrest warrants for failing to return to LCCC after being released on the charges of assault, larceny, trespass and violating conditions of release.

37 year old Renee Stevens was arrested on two $500 arrest warrants for vehicle theft in the 1st degree.

50 year old Clarissa Paulo was arrested on a $1,000 arrest warrant for failing to appear for pretrial hearing on the original charges of misconduct involving a controlled substance in the 2nd and 3rd degree.

The investigation into the burglary is ongoing.
