***** Press Release Update – Calvin Boord Arrested on Warrants *****

JPD received a call that Boord was outside of the Mendenhall Mall. Officers responded and upon their arrival, Boord went inside the mall. An officer located Boord outside of the mall on the backside of the building. Boord appeared to be trying to hide, lying down in the woods behind the mall. Boord attempted to flee when he saw the officer but was detained and arrested on the three outstanding warrants at about 5:52 pm on October 9th, 2018.

The Juneau Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Juneau resident Calvin W. Boord. Boord has been identified as a person of interest in several ongoing investigations and has three outstanding warrants as follow:

$5,000 Felony Juneau AST Enforcement bench warrant charging Failure to Appear for Hearing on original offense of Burglary in the second degree and Criminal Mischief in the third degree

$50 Misdemeanor Juneau AST Enforcement warrant for two counts of Violating Conditions of Release on original charge Theft in the fourth degree and Vehicle Theft in the first degree

$300 Misdemeanor Juneau Police Department warrant for Subject to Answer to Charge of Violating Conditions of Release

Boord is a 49 year old white male, approximately 6’ tall with a thin build, short brown hair and green eyes. A photograph of Boord will be published on the JPD Facebook page. If anyone has information on Boord’s location, please contact a Juneau Police Department dispatcher at 586-0600.
