The officer contacted a 38 year-old Ketchikan man, who had punched and damaged one of the plane’s windows. Due to the man’s altered level of consciousness, the passenger was transported by ambulance to the Bartlett Regional Hospital for evaluation.
The flight was delayed in Juneau while repairs were made. The cost of the repairs had not been determined at the time of this release. The incident is under investigation and criminal charges against the man are anticipated. Alcohol was a factor in the event.
