Summary:

Arrest Made In Domestic Violence Murder

On about 12/13/18, a Juneau Grand Jury indicted 35 year old Jamie Diane Moy Singh for causing the death of 59 year old Mary Lou Singh.  This was related to a reported domestic violence assault back on 03/06/18 in Juneau. During the assault, Mary Lou Singh sustained a serious head injury, and later died at the hospital in Anchorage.

Following the Grand Jury indictment, a felony Juneau AST warrant for Murder in the 2nd degree was issued for Jamie Diane Moy Sing.

On 12/14/18, Juneau Police Officers located Jamie Diane Moy Sing and placed her under arrest for the warrant. She was taken to the jail and held on $50,000 bail.

*******UPDATE*********

On 03/16/2018, the Juneau Police Department was notified by staff at St. Elias hospital in Anchorage that the 59 year old female was pronounced deceased. The 59 year old female is identified as Mary Lou Singh. Next of kin has been notified.

This case is still under active investigation.

***** UPDATE *****

On 03/06/2018, at about 6:43 PM, the Juneau Police Department received a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 8100 block of Snipe Court.

The disturbance occurred between a 34 year old female and a 59 year old female. During the incident, the 34 year old female assaulted the 59 year old female, who sustained a heard injury.

The 59 year old female was transported to the hospital due to her injuries. Later, it was determined that her head injury was serious and she was flown to Providence Hospital in Anchorage.

The 34 year old female also sustained injuries during the incident and was brought to the hospital for further medical treatment.

No arrests have been made at this time and the case is still under investigations. Alcohol appears to be a factor in this incident.
