The Year Of Kindness, a Juneau Police Department Initiative also know as 17YOK, will wrap up with a community party on 12-31-17, 1pm to 5pm, at Thunder Mountain High School. There will be a performance by Yees Ku Oo at 2pm, the Pride Chorus will perform at 3pm, and the chair of the group taking over for a 2018 Year of Kindness will speak at 4pm. People nominated as the Kindest Person in Juneau will be honored throughout the afternoon.
There will also be a slideshow of all the Kindness Alerts put out by JPD throughout the year. Popcorn and Cider will be available. During the event you can sign a banner to commit to a lifestyle of kindness.
