Subject: Stabbing Investigation

Summary:

On 11/15/2017, at approximately 5:40 PM, the Juneau Police Department received multiple reports of a stabbing at a residence located in the 8400 block of Thunder Mountain Road. JPD officers arrived and contacted a 56 year old male and a 43 year old female, both Juneau residents.

The investigation revealed that the male and female where alone in the residence when they got into an argument. The female reported that she had been stabbed by the male and the male reported that he had been stabbed by the female. The female had one knife wound to her front torso. The male had one knife wound to his face and one knife wound on his upper back. Both the female and male were transported to the Bartlett Regional Hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The residence was search and a knife was seized as evidence.

Alcohol appears to be a factor in this incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
