On December 11th, 2016 at about 10:07pm, JPD received a report of a disturbance and possible domestic issue in an apartment on Amalga Street.
Officers responded and contacted a male and female inside the residence. There was damage to walls and doors within the residence and there were broken dishes and other items on the floor. The female was bleeding from her face due to numerous large lacerations to her face and had multiple bruises and cuts on other parts of her body. CCF/R was dispatched and responded to the scene and transported the female victim to BRH.
Officers determined that 25 year old Lorenzo Lopez assaulted the female. Lopez was arrested for Assault in the Second Degree DV and was transported to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
