On November 18th at about 7:58pm, a JPD officer working at the Juneau International Airport reported that a male was possibly sleeping near the small commuter flight section of the airport. It was determined that the 24 year old male, Taylor Pass, had an outstanding extraditable warrant from Dakota County Minnesota.
At about 8:04pm, two officers contacted the male sleeping on the ground near the Wings of Alaska ticket counter and positively identified him as Taylor J. Pass, a resident of Minnesota. Pass was with a 26 year old female, who is also from Minnesota.
Pass was arrested on a no bail warrant charging probation violation stemming from original felony charges of Second Degree Murder with Intent, Second Degree Assault with a Dangerous Weapon and First Degree Murder Premeditated. Pass was transported to and lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center on the charge of Commitment to Await Requisition.
