On November 9th at about 11:16am JPD received a report of a subject lying down in a ditch across the street from Twin Lakes Park. When an EMT with the Rainforest Recovery Emergency Services program arrived on scene, he discovered that there appeared to be a deceased male submerged in the water of a very deep ditch.
CCFR was dispatched and confirmed that the subject was deceased. JPD officers began an investigation.
The deceased subject was identified as 63 year old Gregory Dockery who appears to have lived and moved between a variety of communities including Juneau Alaska and St. Petersburg Florida.
Dockery had no apparent injuries on his body that would have led to his death. An autopsy was requested and the investigation continues.
