On 11-04-14, at about 3:42PM, the Juneau Police Department received a report from Thunder Mountain High school (TMHS) staff regarding needing assistance with a 14 year old male student.
JPD officers arrived at TMHS and met with staff and the student. The student was later transported to the Bartlett Regional Hospital for a precautionary evaluation.
No crime was committed during this incident and there were no injuries reported. During this time, TMHS put the school in a stay put status which lasted for about 7 minutes.
This press release was issued due to several calls from concerned citizens inquiring about what had taken place at TMHS
