On October 16, 2013 at about 7:49pm the Juneau Police Department received a report of a two vehicle crash on Loop Road at Nancy Street. Officers responded to the scene.
Investigation revealed that a 1992 Chevrolet truck driven by a 28 year old man turned left from Nancy Street onto Loop Road in front of a Northbound 2000 Toyota van driven by a 38 year old man. The Chevrolet sustained an estimated $1500 in damage; The Toyota an estimated $3500. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. There were no reported injuries. The driver of the Chevrolet was cited for failure to yield.
One Northbound and one Southbound lane of Loop road were closed for about 40 minutes during investigation of the crash.
