On December 13, 2012 at about 7:00 PM, the Juneau Police Department received a report of a robbery that occurred in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road. The victim called reporting a man walked into the business, demanded money, and threatened the victim with a handgun.
JPD officers responded to the area and began an investigation, which revealed the man walked into the business, demanded money from the victim while pointing a gun at her, then left the business with an undisclosed amount of cash. The victim described the suspect as a male in his mid-20?s, about 5?5? tall, with a skinny build, light blue eyes, wearing a black mask, dark-colored clothing and carrying a backpack.
The Juneau Police Department is currently working on identifying a suspect in this case. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact JPD at 586-0600. The investigation in this case is continuing.
