Take a Hike

What’s better than exploring the most beautiful and scenic hiking trails that Juneau has to offer? Get ready to explore Juneau’s beaches and trails during this camp. Hikes may include East Glacier, Point Bridget, Rainforest Trail, Boy Scout Beach, Treadwell Mine, and the Point Bishop Dupont Trail. Please wear comfortable shoes and get ready for a week of adventure! This is an all-day 4 day camp; please provide your child with a lunch and plenty of water!

Pride Camp

Share your pride and build a supportive community with ZGYC’s first ever Pride Camp! All 11-13 year olds are welcome as we participate in LGBTQ+ activities such as Pride Swag Making, Inclusive pool party, Pride Preforming Arts time, Rainbow Cooking, and Pride Archery!

Join us for lots of art, loads of fun, and tons of play! This week we invite 5 & 6 year olds to come and explore the arts! In this camp, campers will paint, draw, color, craft, and play fun games. This camp is mostly based out of the ZGYC, but campers can expect to spend a little bit of each day outside in our wonderful toddler area, garden, and covered outdoor basketball court. Campers may also explore with mini walking field trips!

Splash!

Splash Camp is a weeklong adventure with all things water! Don’t forget to pack a swimsuit and towel for this week of adventures at Dimond Park Pool, Sandy Beach, Boy Scout Beach, and more! We will have fun making a splash in Juneau!

This camp is all about ART! Painting, drawing, sculpting, and weaving skills will be put to the test this week. We will spend our afternoons adventuring around a variety of Juneau’s awesome parks for inspiration as well as learning of Alaskan Native traditional arts! Immerse yourself in beautiful Juneau and create art with us!

Want your child to strengthen their skills in the outdoors while learning the principles of Leave No Trace Ethics? If so, then sign up for Outdoor Ed where we learn skills like shelter building, plant identification, compass navigation, minimizing outdoor impacts, environmental sustainability, and so much more in the great outdoors!

CampersReal World DnD

Does your child enjoy fantasy video games, movies, or Dungeons & Dragons? Do they wish they could play these characters and stories in real life? Well with Real World DnD, now they can! Campers will create their own characters, craft armor, and follow a week-long storyline filled with clue hunting, side quests, battles, plot twists, and most importantly, teamwork.

Gather & Harvest

In this camp, we will learn how to gather some of the beauty of Alaska through harvesting and processing nature’s bounty! Each day we will learn about the fundamentals of gathering and harvesting, explore the outdoors, and have a blast getting to know the luxury of foraging in the Southeast.

H2Woah is all about having fun in the sun…and water! Make sure to bring your towel and bathing suit as our destinations include visiting harbors, lakes, creeks, beaches, and the pool. Woah, that sounds like a lot of fun!

What better way to finish off the summer than competing in a variety of individual and team events to bring home an Olympic medal? Activities will include water games, relay races, weird and wacky tests of skill, and a whole lot more! Our roster of events are specifically designed to test athleticism, creativity, coordination, logic, teamwork, and artistic prowess to create a fair and balanced Olympics for every camper!

*Dimond Park Adventure Camps*

Get ready for a week packed full of adventure at Dimond Park! Campers will start their day splashing around Dimond Park Aquatic Center and then head to the Dimond Park Field House for activities on the turf, crafts in the mezzanine, and adventures on the Kaxdigoowu Héen Dei (Brotherhood Bridge Trail). Activities will include swim instruction, water games, team sports, crafts, hiking, and more! This is an all-day camp; please provide your child with a lunch and plenty of water!

Due to high demand, children may only register for one session per summer.
