Free event: Juneau vs. Whitehorse hockey game Feb. 21

Watch Juneau take on Whitehorse in the Sister Cities Exhibition Hockey Game on Thursday, February 21, 8-9 p.m. at Treadwell Arena, 105 Savikko Road in Douglas. This free exhibition game is hosted by the City and Borough of Juneau Sister Cities Committee and the Rainforest Old Timers Hockey Association. Cheer for local friends and neighbors, as well as those from Juneau’s Sister City.

The friendly neighborly competition has created the popular Sister City Cup where Juneau’s finest Old Timer players take on the best from Whitehorse. The game and associated trophy has been championed by the Sister City Committee, mayors from both communities, and embodies the true competitive spirit of hockey and friendly rivalry of the two communities.
