Recycling Drop Boxes are taking a break starting May 27

City and Borough of Juneau recycling Drop Boxes, located in the parking lots of Juneau-Douglas High School and Thunder Mountain High School, will be temporarily unavailable starting Monday, May 27 due to a staffing shortage. They will be unavailable for about two weeks.

As an alternative, please take your separated recycle material to CBJ’s Recycling Center located at the landfill, 5600 Tonsgard Court, and open Thursday & Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Do not leave any material, including recyclables, at the JDHS or TMHS Drop Box locations until the containers have returned. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
