The Juneau School District announced today it will start the school year with distance learning for all students at all schools on August 24. To hear specific details about the start of the school year and the different learning options available for students, the district is holding another public forum tomorrow, Wednesday, August 5 at 5 p.m. Join the Zoom meeting https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81797407923 or call 1-346-248-7799; meeting ID: 817 9740 7923.

The district’s goal is to balance educational needs with the health and safety of staff, students, families, and the community. The district continues to work closely with the City and Borough of Juneau Emergency Operations Center and Public Health officials, and plans to re-evaluate its operational status at the end of September.
