Perseverance Trail will be partially closed August 14-15

City and Borough of Juneau Parks & Recreation and Trail Mix are planning to remove a large boulder partially blocking Perseverance Trail approximately two miles from the Basin Road trailhead on Wednesday and Thursday, August 14 and 15. Work will be done between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

The section of Perseverance Trail between the west Red Mill Trail intersection and the Granite Creek Trail intersection will be closed while the crew is working and overnight the night of August 14. Trail users can use the Red Mill Trail to detour around the work area and access the east end of Perseverance Trail and the Granite Creek Trail.

Trail users are urged to use caution when approaching the work area.  Please follow the direction of trail crew workers.
