New fiscal year means new round of funding for Accessory Apartment Incentive Grant Program
The City and Borough of Juneau distributed 13 grants through its Accessory Apartment Incentive Grant Program last year. The program provides $6,000 in funding for homeowners that add an accessory apartment to their home. Now, a new fiscal year means a new round of program funding – 16 accessory apartment grants are available. The goal of the program is to create new housing opportunities in the community. CBJ has also partnered with True North Federal Credit Union to create the Mobile Home Down Payment Assistance Program for Juneau residents looking to purchase a mobile home.
