Give feedback on Blueprint Downtown draft vision recommendations at Jan. 24 meeting

January 22, 2019 – News, Notices for Public Comment

The Blueprint Downtown project team will be presenting draft recommendations regarding the vision for the downtown plan at the next Blueprint Downtown Public Meeting Thursday, January 24, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Centennial Hall. The project team is looking for community feedback and comments; attendees are encouraged to bring a cell phone to participate in live polling.

The draft recommendations are a result of previous public meetings, interviews, and surveys. When the final report is issued, City and Borough of Juneau staff will work with the Blueprint Downtown Steering Committee to use the visioning results to shape a draft Downtown Juneau Area Plan. That draft plan will then be presented to the public and the Planning Commission for consideration and, ultimately, to the Assembly for adoption.

Blueprint Downtown is a planning effort of CBJ’s Community Development Department, with facilitation by MRV Architects, Lucid Reverie, and Sheinberg Associates.
