Free Movie in the Park on Saturday, Dec. 21

Just in time for the holidays, Parks & Recreation presents its second free Movie in the Park, How the Grinch Stole Christmas (PG), this Saturday, December 21, at 4 p.m. in Marine Park Pavilion in Downtown Juneau (290 Marine Way).

Pop some popcorn, bring your blankets, picnics, lawn chairs and don’t forget to dress in layers for a fun afternoon full of holiday cheer for the whole family. This Movie in the Park event is sponsored by Glacier Pediatrics. Come early to get a good seat and grab a cup of festive hot chocolate provided by Heritage Coffee Roasting Co.

Once the movie wraps, head over to Franklin St. to see Santa ride with Capital City Fire/Rescue. Santa will begin his downtown ride at the Tram at 6 p.m. before heading to Downtown Douglas.
