Congratulations Class of 2020

May 18, 2020 – News

The Class of 2020 is ready to graduate. Congratulations Juneau’s High School seniors! This year’s graduation ceremony may not be a typical one, but with the help of the Grad Task Team, students will be able to take part in a video ceremony. Starting today, seniors will go to their school at an appointed time to walk across the graduation stage in their caps and gowns to receive their diploma covers. Professional graduation pictures will also be taken at this time. Everything will be conducted with appropriate social distancing. By the end of May, a graduation video for each school’s ceremony will be available online. The videos will feature traditional graduation speeches, music, and each senior’s professional cap and gown photo with their name.

Graduates will also be receiving gift bags including items from the schools, community, and the Parents for a Safe Graduation Committee.
