CBJ Utilities delays work on North Douglas water main break

Due to weather, City and Borough of Juneau Utilities will not be performing an emergency water line shut off on North Douglas Highway today, February 19. Residents living in the 8100 block of North Douglas Highway and out to the end of North Douglas Highway – including Ninemile Creek Road and Bayview Subdivisions – will not see an interruption to water service.

The water main break discovered along the 8100 block of North Douglas Highway last week has been determined to be minor and is not causing any damage. The repair and water shutdown will be rescheduled to a future date when the weather becomes more cooperative.
