Assembly makes appointments to Airport and Docks & Harbors Boards

The City and Borough of Juneau Assembly, at a Special Assembly Meeting held Monday, June 11, 2018, made the following appointments to the Juneau International Airport Board and the Docks and Harbors Board:

JUNEAU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT BOARD

The Assembly reappointed Angela Rodell and appointed Al Clough to the Juneau International Airport Board to full terms beginning July 1, 2018 and expiring June 30, 2021. The Assembly also appointed Chris Peloso to an unexpired term on the Airport Board beginning immediately and expiring June 30, 2019.

DOCKS & HARBORS BOARD

The Assembly appointed Jim Becker, Dan Blanchard, and Dave McCasland to the Docks and Harbors Board to terms beginning July 1, 2018 and expiring June 30, 2021.

The Assembly would like to thank outgoing Airport Board member John “Joe” Heueisen and outgoing Docks and Harbors Board member Tom Donek for their many years of service and leadership as past chairpersons on these boards. The Assembly also wishes to thank and recognize outgoing Docks and Harbors Board members Robert Mosher and David Lowell for their service on the Docks and Harbors Board.

The Assembly thanks all those individuals who are willing to serve and have submitted applications for consideration. The Assembly Human Resources Committee will be conducting similar interviews followed by a Special Assembly meeting on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 to interview applicants for the Eaglecrest Ski Area Board.
