Airport emergency drill a success; airport thanks all involved

The Juneau International Airport conducted and emergency exercise on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at the airport.

The emergency exercise was a success with 120 volunteers, members of the Juneau International Airport, FAA/Air Traffic Control, CBJ, Capital City Fire Rescue, Bartlett Regional Hospital, the American Red Cross, Alaska Airlines, National Weather Service, Salvation Army, Ward Air, Capital Transit and the Aspen Hotel participated in the event. Special thanks go out to all these agencies and volunteers for spending their Saturday morning conduct this exercise. These events help all of our agencies be better prepared for real world emergencies.
