THIS EVENT TAKES PLACE AT THE GOLD TOWN THEATER

The Juneau-Douglas City Museum will be screening the short film entitled Sayéik, by Luke Holton, and hosting a panel discussion on place names at the Gold Town Theater on Wednesday, November 28th at 6:30pm. This event is FREE.

Sayéik is a student research film that examines historical events of colonization in Southeast Alaska. By illustrating the relationship between native and non-native communities throughout the 20th century, the documentary aims to celebrate the early success of place name revitalization projects across the state.
