Family Day - August

This summer, the City Museum is hosting Family Days once a month for local families to visit the Museum and enjoy a drop-in activity. Adults with children will receive free admission, and all are invited to participate in a free drop-in activity suitable for children ages 5-10. Our August Family Day will be a part of the CBJ's annual Day of Play. (For a full schedule of Day of Play events, check with the City Parks & Recreation Department.)

Come check out the Museum's hands-on exhibits, try your hand at a scavenger hunt, play a round of I-Spy in our Juneau Businesses case, and enjoy the Museum's exhibits and our 26-minute film on Juneau's history ?Juneau: City Built on Gold,? which plays on the hour and half-hour. For the next Family Day, September 17th, we will have a special activity as a part of the Juneau Public Libraries' Big Read project.
