Sheila Kelly Presentation - Treadwell Gold

Join us at the Douglas Library for a free presentation by Sheila Kelly on the history of the Treadwell Mines and the people who worked there. Doors will open at 6:45pm. Kelly, a descendent of Treadwell citizens, spent over twenty years researching Treadwell for her book Treadwell Gold, which includes first-hand accounts from sons and daughters of the miners, machinists, and superintendents at Treadwell. This presentation is a precursor for the Perseverance Theatre production ?Treadwell Gold,? based on Kelly?s book, which opens on June 22nd and runs through July 3rd.

Please note that this program takes place at the Douglas Library, not at the City Museum.
