On May 6th, the Alaska Peace Officers Association will be hosting their 7th annual Sprint Triathlon at the Dimond Park Aquatic Center!
The Adult Triathlon will include a 500 yard swim, 12.5 mile bike ride, and a 3.1 mile run. There are three different divisions that you can sign up for!
- Competitive Division: designed for those athletes that want the feel of racing each other. Competitive division participants will start first and split a lane with another competitor.
- Sport Division: this division starts second and is for participants that want their own lane and racing to their best.
- Team Division: This division can accommodate 2 or 3 athletes who want to divide and conquer the course!
Event will start at 7:00 a.m. at the Dimond Park Aquatic Center Swimming Pool. The bicycle staging area will be open by 5:00 a.m.. Please be at the pool for check in by 6:00am and final race instructions at 06:30 a.m.

You can sign your 1st through 5th grader up for the Iron Kids Triathlon directly through the pools! There is no cost to sign up!
