The Planning Commission Meeting will occur August 11, 7 P.M. This meeting will be virtual and telephonic only, and will be to review applications for two transitional housing projects, an associated parking waiver, and a modification to a conditional use permit to include on-site consumption of of edible marijuana products. These items are up for public hearing.

A Conditional Use Permit for Transitional Housing (USE2020 0017)

Applicant requests a Conditional Use Permit for Transitional Housing located at 6205 Alaway Avenue in a General Commercial Zoning District. This project includes supportive programming for residents, as well as an on-site live-in resident manager.

 

A Conditional Use Permit for Transitional Housing (USE2020 0018)

Applicant requests a Conditional Use Permit for transitional housing at the southeast corner of Jenkins Drive and Allen Court in the Lemon Creek area. This project includes five modular units for 13 individual rooms, as well as an on-site live-in resident manager.

A Parking Waiver to reduce the number of required spaces from 13 to 4 (PWP2020 0003)

Applicant requests a parking waiver for Allen Court transitional housing project, from 13 required off-street spaces to four (4). Vehicle activity is anticipated to be from employees or service providers, and from an on-site live-in manager; residents of this transitional housing are not allowed to have vehicles.

A modification to a Conditional Use Permit (USE2016 0006) to include on-site consumption of edible marijuana products (USE2020 0016)

Applicant requests modification of a Special Use Permit (USE2016 0006) to include on-site consumption of edible marijuana products. No on-site smoking of marijuana is proposed, nor are changes to the footprint of the building. This permit does not modify conditions of the original permit, nor does it void or restart the five-year review requirement.
