The filing period for the City & Borough of Juneau Assembly and School Board opened Friday, August 2, 2019 at 8:00 a.m.  Voters will elect four Assemblymembers and two School Board members at the October 1, 2019 Regular Municipal Election.  Filing for the seats closed Monday, August 12, 2019 at 4:30 p.m.

Candidates had until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, August 16 to withdraw or make changes to the way their name appears on the ballot. The below list reflects the final list of certified candidates, their updated information and the order in which their names will appear in each race on the ballot.

PROFILES OF THE CANDIDATES, are available by clicking on the candidates’ names below. Candidate statements are optional and if a candidate chose not to file a statement, that is noted in the list below.  CBJ Code prohibits publication of candidate profiles for write-in candidates.

Please note: Voting in municipal elections is conducted on an areawide basis and voters may cast a ballot in all races on the ballot. Voting districts are solely for the purpose of the residency of the candidate! This is different from state elections.
