Christine Woll grew up in New England and after studying fisheries on the coast of Maine for several years, moved to Alaska in 2009 to get a Masters of Science in Fisheries at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.  In 2012, she moved to Juneau to work for The Nature Conservancy, where she worked for ten years as a fish biologist and regional program director.  Since 2022, Christine has been working for the Foraker Group, where she supports Alaskan non-profits as they recruit and hire executive leadership.

Christine successfully ran for a District 2 seat on the City and Borough of Juneau Assembly in 2020.  She now chairs the Assembly Finance Committee. Prior to running for Assembly, Christine served on the Juneau Commission on Sustainability and chaired the Blueprint Downtown steering committee.

Rain or shine, you might find Christine fishing from her rowboat; running mountain ridges with her husband Peter; tending her garden; or playing hockey at Douglas’s Treadwell Arena.  Christine, Peter, and their dog Stikine own a home on the Mendenhall Peninsula and are grateful to live on Lingít Aaní.
